Check out this cool gadget, the following video shows a virtual computer keyboard created on a flat surface by laser beam out from a small laser generator device.

The virtual computer laser keyboard is a standard full size QWERTY computer keyboard, the laser generator device would get feedback by the press of your finger on the keys, combining with the bluetooth wireless technology and mobile data transfer interface, hence it’ll be possible to achieve the ubiquitous input solution.

It’s light weight as the whole station with laser generator is just 3.5 inches tall. With the Bluetooth connectivity, it’s easy to pair with your mobile device via Bluetooth interface. And it’s also good to use with your laptop, extend your laptop keyboard to a full size standard one.

You may wonder how it works, the laser keyboard manufacturer website will give you the answer.

The only problem with the cool laser keyboard is similar to the issue of using a touchscreen keyboard, you couldn’t actually feel where the keys are while you couldn’t touch some real keys.

This laser computer keyboard, with a bit sci-fi style, sells for $149.99, you can buy one from virtual-laser-keyboard.com.

Physical Keyboard and Windows XP on the Phone – xpPhone

September 18th, 2009 -

Every day we see tons of new products like this launched that reminds what an instant world of today we are living.

A sliding QWERTY computer keyboard, Windows XP, a netbook? No, it’s a mobile phone! But it’s more likely to define as a UMPC.

This mobile device called xpPhone was introduced to us as ITG launched its new official webpage.

It just seems too powerful to be true as it would be released with a slider keyboard, 4.8-inch touchscreen, GPS, an unspecified AMD Super Mobile CPU, a wide range of SSD and HDD selections, 512MB-1GB RAM, WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, and most importantly runs a full-blown copy of Windows XP!

What I can say is that the mobile spec is insane if it’s proved to be true, it’ll be the most powerful mobile in the market.

As you may notice on their website, it’ll be able to pre-order one of these beasts online with an unknown price.

Microsoft Hardware’s new Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard BMK6000

This beautiful Bluetooth Mobile Computer Keyboard newly out from Microsoft is just as thin as a AAA battery at the back.

I’m kind of like the little “curve” in the middle, probably it’s worth buying for blogging, but it’s Microsoft product, pricey guarantee.
